Phil Tayler

Phil Tayler is an Actor/Singer/Dancer/Puppeteer/Director/Producer/Opportunity Hunter that has lived and worked in The Greater Boston Area for the past decade. Phil grew up in Overland Park, Kansas and attended Shawnee Mission South High School. Phil attended The Boston Conservatory and began working in the professional theatre scene in Boston and ever since has been performing across the country. Phil has been honored with several of Boston's most prestigious Elliot Norton and IRNE Awards for his work over the years. Boston Area companies Phil has worked with include: Lyric Stage Company, Huntington Theatre Company, Moonbox Productions, Speakeasy Stage Company, Gloucester Stage Company, Whistler in the Dark, New Repertory Theatre, Stoneham Theatre, Wheelock Family Theatre, Nora Theatre Company, German Stages, Swiss Stages, Fiddlehead Theatre, Turtle Lane Playhouse, The Orfeo Group and The Boston Conservatory. Outside Boston, Phil has been seen on stages from the backwoods of Maine (Quisisana Resort) to the rolling hills of Kansas (Theatre in the Park, KC Starlight, MTYP, Lewis and Shirley White Theatre) and even the Rocky Mountains of Colorado (The Arvada Center). Directing credits include: Tracy Lett's Killer Joe, and John Patrick Shanley's Dirty Story (The Boston Conservatory). Television: MTV 2‘s High School Stories- Sticky Situation. Phil can also be seen in Douglas Farwell Productions commercial "One Liner" for Hooker Beer based in CT. Phil holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Boston Conservatory.
